when it rains, it pours

I'm in Victoria!  My sister got a job working in Haida Gwaii, on the northern most island there, almost in Alaska.  Which meant if I didn't see her this week, I wouldn't see her until Christmas.  I got my butt on a plane, and now I'm spending a lovely and very sudden week on the west coast, where spring is in full force.

My parents are selling their house, so I have been photographing all the lovely plants I will miss (and the compost!).  I've got so many more photos to come - I love this place in spring, so lush and beautiful.
