sick day

Lately I've been feeling really under the weather, but today was my first day off to really wallow in it.  I started to crochet a rag rug, I knit the second mitten to my pair (why is the second always so horrible?!) and I made my favourite rice wraps.  Sometimes I just enjoy a sick day to hang around in bed, am I alone in that?

In other news, this weather is really bringing on my need to make change in my life.  I'm looking into applying to school (who knew I wanted to do that again, not I!), dreaming up trips abroad with my sister, and thinking about big making projects.  I'm starting with something small - changing the look of this here blog.  My incredibly talented and amazing lifelong friend An recently made her mark on the internet, and I'm so inspired by her talent and aesthetic.

    1. Ug, I hope I get better soon too! I think Seb and I are just bouncing a cold back and forth between us right now.

I'll let you know about school soon...I don't want to jinx things until I've got a handle on them...(I've been out of school for 5 years with absolutely no intention of going back. Crazy the sort of things you realize in a hurry)

    1. OH man, now I remember why my blog looks like this - stuff is hard to fix!

That rug is so beautiful! I don't think mine is going to be very pretty...I like the square size - much more practical than the lopsided circle I'm making :)
