Well, I wasn't totally organized enough to take photos as I was making the quilt, so I drew up little instructions. They don't cover everything, but if you're like me and have no idea where to start, they might help a little!
Here's a link to the binding instructions I've been using. They are far more detailed than I could manage.
Also, I'm totally cheating here. This is a quilt that I made over a year ago, but I'm still sloooowly hand sewing the binding onto my mammoth quilt, and I'm too impatient to wait to finish it.
Happy quilting!
Woah, you're amazing! I'm so lazy and just machine sew quilts. One day!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is incredibly awesome. I remember when you were making it! Such cute instructions, I want to make one. It reminds me that I need to get on the ball with doing new sewing patterns so you can sketch for them.
ReplyDeletethanks thanks thanks! i always feel like quilting is such an involved and laborious process, and thus hesitate to even begin planning one. but you've given me hope. i just need to dive in with the first step and go from there! i LOVE the way you pieced yours. it's so fun!
