I actually can't believe I finished knitting a pair of socks. In like, a week. (I should be more honest about that speediness. I bought the yarn for them
last summer when I visited NY) But now they are finished and ready to mail to my mom for mothers' day! She wanted 'plain socks' and I think
these do the trick. I might even make another pair for myself...
In other sock news, I've been wearing unmatching socks around the house. I'm not so much into hand knit socks, and I've been trying to decide whether to knit the second of either of these. I feel like I have to be so much more careful walking in these!
I know what you mean. I love the idea of hand knit socks, but in practice my feet get too hot. I can't quite get my sizing down right, might be part of the problem. Yours look lovely.
