We have very awesome house guests right now, who along with feeding Omelet insane quantities of food and doing our dishes, are into cool things like making pinhole cameras. This was mine, and I just took my first photo of our back porch. I should take a photo of it right now, because it is wonderful. Our neighbour has their laundry out, I can see and hear the bbq in the yard behind us, someone else is playing music, and the temperature has dropped enough that I actually enjoy living.
Anyways, I don't think I'll get to see the photo until they go back to France and develop the film. Can't wait!

ReplyDeletei love it when it's the perfect temperature outside, and there's still a lot of sunlight left, and you can just hear the everyday noises of people around you enjoying summer. it's so nice to just sit and soak it in sometimes, isn't it?
that's my favourite time, ever. bonus points if it smells like bbq
